A comfortable and rapid recovery is our goal for every patient’s experience at Orange Regional Medical Center. Our patient rooms are thoughtfully designed to enhance your experience as a patient. Each spacious room is beautifully decorated with warm and inviting colors that help to provide a comfortable setting for your restful recovery. Additionally, each room includes many of the comforts of home including an HDTV, a bathroom with shower – and even room service.

Spagnoli Family Cancer Center

The new Orange Regional Medical Center will provide you with the latest cancer fighting options, procedures and equipment, giving you the best treatment possible in a new, comfortable setting. Our Outpatient Infusion Center is conveniently located on the main floor, as you arrive through the Outpatient Center entrance. The spacious Spagnoli Family Cancer Center offers a comfortable setting for outpatient services including chemotherapy/biotherapy, antibiotics and blood transfusions. Occupying an entire wing on the second floor is the new, Inpatient Oncology Unit. The compassionate care in this unit is delivered by a dedicated staff of exceptional surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, oncology-certified nurses, diagnostic radiologists, pathologists and other cancer specialists. Peter Frommer, M.D. Heart Center

Our new cardiology center is dedicated to offering comprehensive cardiac services including the latest in diagnostic and treatment technology.   We feature three cardiac catheterization labs and advanced cardiology services, including emergency and elective angioplasty.  Our cardiac rehabilitation area is conveniently located on the main floor of the campus just inside the Outpatient Center entrance. This beautiful area features a state-of-the-art indoor rehabilitation track and modern exercise equipment. Rowley Family Birthing Center

   Orange Regional’s entire sixth floor is dedicated to our new birthing center, where new moms can deliver in a warm, safe and comfortable environment while having the privacy they need during this special time. To ensure the needs of mother and baby are met in complete comfort and privacy, the birthing center includes a high-tech security system, private labor/delivery/recovery rooms and two C-section operating rooms. In addition, there is a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in development. Our private postpartum rooms were designed with relaxation in mind and include private bathrooms and soothing showers, individual thermostats, scenic views, HDTVs and the convenience of sleeper chairs for partners. Emergency Department

The Emergency Department was made possible through the generosity of Crystal Run Health Care, LLP.

Orange Regional’s new, high-tech Emergency Department streamlines the process of an emergency visit to ensure rapid, effective treatment. Our 50 treatment rooms include a nine-room minor care treatment area and two pediatric-specific rooms. The Surgical Suite and catheterization labs are strategically placed next to the Emergency Department, which also has its own dedicated CAT scan and diagnostic imaging suite. Additionally, a heated helipad just outside the Emergency Department and indoor ambulance bays will provide safe, secure transport for patients during adverse weather conditions. Bone & Joint Center/Neurosciences Unit

Orange Regional’s Bone & Joint Center/Neurosciences Unit provides the latest in care for your bones and joints and neurological needs in this new, state-of-the-art setting on the fourth floor. The new hospital provides a spacious setting for advanced diagnostic and rehabilitation technology. The Bone & Joint Center is affiliated with NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases and is nationally ranked as one of the best for orthopedics and rheumatology. Our Neurosciences Unit specializes in the advanced diagnosis and treatment of the nervous system, spine and orthopedic care and is designated as a regional stroke center. Physical Rehabilitation Unit

Located on the fourth floor, the Physical Rehabilitation Unit is the new home of Orange Regional’s Physical Rehabilitation Services team. Our group of professionally-trained specialists will use advanced therapies and treatments to deliver high-quality care in a new, open setting. The spacious unit allows for state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and technology that will help to get you back on your feet - faster. Surgical Suite

Each year, thousands of patients turn to Orange Regional for their surgeries. At our new surgical suite you will find talent, technology and experience in outstanding, state-of-the-art surgical facilities. The 12 operating rooms in our spacious surgical suite provide our team of physicians with the environment and technology to give you the best quality care and ensure a rapid recovery. Interventional Radiology Rooms

Our Interventional Radiology professionals will utilize image guided technology in two new dedicated rooms on the first floor. Our team is provided the best resources available to fulfill their commitment to treat a variety of medical disorders without surgery and provide you with compassionate care in a contemporary setting. Interventional procedures are generally less traumatic to patients than surgery, involve smaller incisions, less pain and shorter hospital stays. Dedicated Pediatric Unit

Located on the fifth floor, Orange Regional’s new Dedicated Pediatric Unit takes a family-centered approach to healthcare. Pediatrics is an inviting, comfortable and secure unit that includes a procedure room and specialized pediatric equipment to ensure your child receives the highest level of care. Staffed with Certified Pediatric Nurses who are warm and friendly, the unit’s private patient rooms feature age-appropriate themed décor and private bathrooms. Patients can enjoy HDTVs and portable gaming consoles in each room. Our colorful, cheerful playroom gives children a place to relax, enjoy games and activities and be themselves without disrupting others. While our focus for care is always on the patient, we have made available amenities for parents including meals and sleeper chairs. A parent’s understanding of the illness facing their child is important to the recovery process and Orange Regional will provide diagnosis and treatment educational materials.

Behavioral Health Unit

Orange Regional is a recognized leader in behavioral health sciences. Our new, Behavioral Health Unit is a secure and safe environment that offers a full range of programs for adults with serious mental illness, emotional disturbances or substance abuse. This separate unit in the new hospital has dedicated access through a private elevator. Our team of professionals will assist you and your family with chemical dependencies, mood disorders, emotional disturbances, learning disabilities, behavior problems and related illnesses through our outpatient and inpatient services. Healing Garden

Orange Regional’s well-appointed landscaping and plantings invite you into its Healing Garden and give you a place for rest and rejuvenation. The jewel of our manicured campus is our Healing Garden. Filled with annuals and perennials, this beautiful landscape can be enjoyed throughout the year by patients, visitors and staff. Walk among our deciduous trees and shrubs, evergreen trees, groundcover, grasses and flowers and absorb the mental and physical healing power of our garden.

Electronic Health Record System

An electronic health record system (EHR) develops an electronic health record, or chart, for each patient in real time. Available currently at both the Horton Campus and Arden Hill Campus, these records will be accessible throughout the new hospital and in physician offices. EHRs provide the right information, for the right person, in the right format, in real time, all of the time, so healthcare providers may provide efficient patient care to you. Electronic health records provide enhanced patient safety, reduced operational costs, improved healthcare quality and outcomes, prevention of medical errors and improved access to coordination of care.

Wireless Technology

The new Orange Regional Medical Center is designed to provide wireless technology in every corner of the hospital so you can stay in touch and engaged with loved ones while you’re tending to family or friends in the hospital. Wherever you are – in the Emergency Department, in the cafeteria, in a waiting room, down a stairway, in a patient room, anywhere – you’ll be in touch with your life outside the hospital while you are caring for those inside.

Non-denominational Chapel

Our calm and inviting non-denominational chapel, located on the first floor, provides patients and visitors with a peaceful place for prayer, thought or reflection. A clergy person is available to assist you and your family with your spiritual and emotional needs. Also, a nurse can provide assistance in contacting a member of the clergy or you may contact your own clergy person.

Expanded Cafeteria/Outside Dining Patio

Orange Regional’s new cafeteria and outside dining patio, located on the ground floor, provide our patients and families with an inviting culinary experience in beautifully expansive, open and airy dining areas. Our spacious environment gives you room to relax and refresh with enjoyable dining that includes a variety of delicious, healthy food and beverage choices. We offer made-to-order sandwiches, grill items, gourmet salads from our giant salad bar, daily chef specials, upscale soups and theme day entrees.

Plenty of Parking

Over 1,600 surface spaces are provided to accommodate visitors, physicians and employees in a safe and secure environment. Our campus can be accessed from entrances on East Main Street and Midway Park Drive. From either entrance you will come to a road that encircles the hospital lots and will guide you to the right place to park, whatever your need may be. Whether you are visiting a patient, coming for an emergency or procedure at the new hospital, our free parking areas are located near your destination.
